A few days ago the Bureau of Meteorology forecasted a three-day heatwave in NSW. Well, looks like their predictions were correct, Sydney is HOT! Yesterday the temperature reached about 30 degrees and today the temperature is around 35 degrees celcius.
It is normal for the temperature to reach that high during summer but it is not even summer yet and it's already that hot. Also, a single hot day is normal but a three day straight hot temperatures is a bit out of the ordinary. The temperature is only hot during the day though, at night the temperature cools down up to 20 degrees celcius.
The good news is, my notebook is running fine after being repaired for 3 weeks because it overheats when the temperature is high. Another good news is, the temperature is going to cool down on Sunday up to 17 degrees and it's going to rain!!
I've been experiencing bad customer service from three different companies. One company is a big multi national company and the other two is a small local company. As a customer (and as a business owner), these are the things I expect from customer service:
- Keep your promise - If you say you're going to call your customer back, make sure you call them back. All representatives from these three companies promised to give me a call back but no one ever call me back.
- Inform the customers -- Always inform the customers of any problems. If delivery is not going to take place on the day you promise them, let them know. If a product is not ready to be picked up, let the customer know so they won't come to your place only to go back empty handed.
- Apologize -- Your customers expect a working product, a good service, an on-time delivery, or whatever it is you are offering. If for any reason reason you cannot keep your promise, you should apologize for any inconveniences. Apologize if you put them on hold for too long.
- Follow-up -- This would be really nice. A simple email or a phone call asking them if their problems are resolved or asking if there's anything else you can do for your customer.
Anyway, I still haven't receive any call from the manager from the big company who promised to "call me back in a few hours". I also still haven't receive the product I'm supposed to receive last week.
I'm guessing none of them listen to my feedback.
The DVD contained two two episodes of the Crocodile Hunter Show. The first one is called the Wildest Home Videos and the second one is called Steve and the Dragon.
Wildest Home Videos episode contains some of the scariest moment from the Crocodile Hunter's private video library. Steve Irwin was bitten by an angry python in the face, bitten by Goanna, bitten on the foot by a crocodile, and a video of him saving a croc from a mud.
The second episode takes place in Komodo Island, an Island of Indonesia and it is part of the Komodo National Park. The Komodo national park was founded in 1980 to protect the population of the Komodo Dragon. The Komodo dragon is the largest living lizard and most dangerous in the world.
I am going to purchase all six series of the Crocodile Hunter. You can find the DVD from ebay or buy directly from the Crocodile Hunter site.
